Let us pray:

                                        An Epiphany Prayer

Lord Jesus, may your light shine our way,

As once it guided the steps of the magi:

That we too may be led into your presence

And worship you, the Child of Mary,

The Word of the Father, the King of Nations,

The Saviour of humankind:

To whom be glory forever.

Principal Message

Dear Wolfpack families, as you probably heard yesterday afternoon, Premier Doug Ford announced an extension of  the provincial lockdown. Our wolfpack students/staff will not return to in-person school until January 25, 2021. This means that all of our students (K-6) at St.Thomas More will continue with remote learning. We know that these times are very challenging for many of our families. If there is anything we can do to make things a bit easier for your family please reach out to Thomas.more@ocsb.ca or email me directly at chris.risto@ocsb.ca . Thank you for your tremendous efforts as you try to balance your family commitments with your work responsibilities.  Your mental health and wellbeing are important to all of us.  Our staff at St.Thomas More know that you and our students are doing their best with remote learning. Thank you for your continued dedication to St.Thomas More Catholic School.

Kindergarten Registration Week

Spread the word it is Kindergarten Registration Week for the 2021-22 School year!  We will be starting to register our new JK students this Monday, January 11th! To learn more about our kindergarten programs and how to register, please visit this link.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, all registrations continue to be processed online by Admissions and then forwarded to our school. Please take a 3Dtour virtual tour of one of our kinder classrooms.

Why register early?

While you will still be able to register after the campaign ends on January 15th, early registration helps us determine class sizes and student needs, including the hiring of extra staff where necessary, and allowing our teachers to start planning early for next year. This allows your little one the best possible start to their first year of school!

Early registration also means you will be sent a welcome package in the springtime, which is expected to include:

  • A welcome letter

  • A "Ready for Kindergarten" booklet

  • Crayons

  • Google glasses that will allow you to do a virtual tour of the classroom (wow!)

  • And more!

These welcome packages will be distributed by the Board, and not the schools, so make sure to complete your registration early if you would like one!

We are so excited to welcome our new learners to school next year, and we hope you will join us in helping to spread the word about this exciting campaign!
