Remembrance Day

Dear Wolfpack families, we will commemorate Remembrance Day with a pre-recorded liturgy so that all students can safely watch within their own classrooms. On Tuesday, November 10th we will email all of our families the link to our Remembrance Day liturgy so you are able to view for November 11th. We continue to follow all OPH COVID safety rules and will place a stick-on poppy for each student in advance on their desk the night before November 11th. If you wish to make a poppy donation please visit https://legion.ca/donations

Parent/teacher Interviews

Dear STM families, our Parent/Teacher Interviews is a great opportunity for us to share academic progress and growth based on classroom observations, testing data, assessments, portfolios, in-class assignments and online assignments using Hapara. Our Parent/Teacher interviews will be conducted by phone or by google meet. Your teacher will be reaching out to you by email/phone shortly to set up an interview time and date to discuss your child’s progress.

All interviews will be conducted starting November 11th -November 18th.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of our STM educators for their ongoing professionalism and dedication to our students and STM families. Parent/Teacher interviews play a significant role in enhancing a child's education. Please take the time to read your child(ren)’s report card. Saying this, our educators have been preparing their notes and assessment in advance for your interview so that you have a better understanding of your child’s progress.  Their passion for teaching is infectious and they are to be commended on their ongoing professionalism. Thank you STM Wolfpack!

Dear Wolfpack families, St.Thomas More School is excited to celebrate two upcoming Spirit Weeks with our Wolfpack community: the first centered around anti-bullying for the month of November, and the second around the spirit of giving “Angel Tree Campaign” and the importance of loving our neighbour. Over the next 6 weeks there will be lots of fun activities planned for our students.  During this time, we are also asking everyone to donate what they can so that we can further our commitment to Be Community and help out our families in need this Christmas, both within our own school as well as our companion school St. Luke (Ottawa).

Due to pandemic restrictions around the handling of cash, DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLINE ONLY. Thank you for your generosity and your Be Community spirit! This year through gift cards purchased with your generous donations using school cash online, we are able to support our families in need.  Please watch for more information.
