   School Wide Bingo

Dear wolf pack families, this year we all know that Halloween will not be the usual celebrations as in the past. And this year teachers and parents are not allowed to provide treats to students as in the past.  We hope to bring some smiles to our students by running a school wide bingo on Friday afternoon. A fun filled spooky celebration for our students for all their hard work and dedication these past couple of months.

Thank you to our amazing Catholic School Council for sponsoring our Spooktacular Bingo afternoon by providing each student with a treat and prizes for the bingo winners. This event would not be a success without the support of our amazing CSC and staff. ( Please note that we have taken all the necessary COVID safety precautions in the delivery of our student prizes and the running of our school bingo if you need further clarification of the safety steps involved  please contact myself chris.risto@ocsb.ca )

Costume Day

Reminder parents that our school wide costume day is Friday October 30th in support of our Catholic Education Foundation Fundraiser (CEFO). This foundation supports families in the Ottawa Catholic School board. STM Families will be able to make their donations this coming Tuesday, October 27th using school cash online.  Thank you kindly in advance for your support.

A few requests in regards to Halloween costumes…

Please ensure that costumes are culturally sensitive. As per OPH direction we are able to wear simple costumes.  Please no costume masks or props, such as wands, swords, lightsabers, etc. Also, please understand that your child will be involved in a regular school day, so the costume needs to be able to withstand all regular school activities, including going to the washroom by him/herself and playing outdoors. Students will not be permitted to change clothes at school and must arrive in costume. And as always, if you prefer you may continue to wear black and orange. We Thank you for your cooperation. We certainly don’t want any disappointed children if the costume is ruined before the weekend.
