Spreading Joy: Launching Our Angel Tree Christmas Campaign!

The holiday season and Advent are approaching, and STM is excited to announce the Angel Tree Christmas Campaign starting Monday, November 24th. The goal is to collect gift cards for families in our community. Any amount, big or small, is greatly appreciated. For every gift card your child brings in, they will receive a ticket for a chance to win cool prizes. Please note the amount on the gift card for even distribution. School cash online will be set up to accept $5 donations for our spirit days throughout the campaign. Performing the National Anthem at the Ottawa 67s Hockey Game! 

St. Thomas More School Choir has been invited to perform the National Anthem at an Ottawa 67s OHL hockey game. The event details are as follows:

• Ottawa 67s vs. Peterborough Petes.

• Sunday, January 18, 2026.

• The game starts at 3:00 PM at The Arena at TD Place.

• Family and friends are encouraged to attend and support our student performers. 

• Cost: $25 per ticket. You can purchase tickets through School Cash Online

Members of the choir/orchestra received event permission forms to review with parents/guardians. Please return by Friday, Nov 28, 2025 

STM School Council presents: Rockin' Around the Dance Floor!  

Get ready to jingle and mingle! On December 12, students are invited to the gym for an afternoon dance packed with holiday fun. DJ Greg (First Choice Entertainment) will be spinning all the favourite holiday hits, leading some awesome dance moves and filling the school with tons of Christmas cheer. We can't wait to celebrate the season together! Block 3: Kindergarten and Primary Students; Block 4: Junior Students. Parents are welcome to join.

The STM School Parent Council presents Halloween Movie Night and Bake Sale on Thursday, October 23rd.

HELP! Halloween Themed Goodies Needed!

We’re looking for parents who can donate some NUT-FREE Halloween-themed goodies — ghostly cupcakes, monster cookies, spooky brownies, or anything festive and fun for our Halloween Movie Night and Bake Sale. We kindly request that donations be dropped off on October 25 at the School Office (9:00 am - 3:00 pm) or at the event table (5:00 pm).
